Lowe’s pitches in $1M for Sandy relief

Lowe’s Cos. Inc. has joined a growing list of Charlotte-area companies throwing support behind communities affected by Superstorm Sandy. The Mooresville-based retail chain says it will donate $1 million through the American Red Cross and other national nonprofit partners for relief and rebuilding efforts.
